Random thing i was thinking about

Just because you didn’t, get that new phone for christmas, appreciate what you have. There are people, who have nothing, mean nothing, and are nothing in other’s eyes. Why is this? We are letting it happen. The people who are denied a voice, the ones who fight to get a full belly that day, are the ones who need help the most. This is only the start. Even a country with great economy, the United States, can not do anything. Why? Because most people think of these people, who have nothing, as filthy, worthless, terrible. But that’s not true. These people, the ones who are denied a voice, are only the start. People who live in povorty, why do they, why are they so poor? Because we have this thing called, “money”. Without money, I’m sure that it would be messed up, and the world would have no order. It’s not fair for these people. If you have any ideas about this, please post it on your blog. Thx!

  1. Reblogged this on purplestarfishbooks and commented:
But I did get that new cell, I got it for myself. . but I know what you mean. Even having enough to eat, and enough to pay your bills anymore is nothing to take lightly, so many people do without the necessities. If we have what we need, we should really be giving back.

  2. You have a good heart and never stop caring. There are a lot of good people out there who contribute in ways large and small, unrecognized, and not through the government. I run into them every day. Well, I’m a glass half full person.

  3. Ode to Horace Mann
Be ashamed to die until you have won
Some victory for humanity. Horace Mann

Be aware that energy is life, save some for your kids.
Be afraid that our minds are bent by news not books.
Be awed by the healing power of the simple purple cone flower.
Be amazed that after four short years she knows so much.
Be awake before the bombs drop, before the money rules.
Be agile: live in a town that walks and bikes to work and play.
Be amused by ants and birds, goats and potato fields, lilacs and sycamores.
Be angry only long enough to solve the problem, then move on.
Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity.
