Good job!

The Shining Blog

I believe the author’s message in “Iqbal”, a novel, is that true friends always help each other, keep their promises, and never lie to each other. Iqbal and the other kids were true friends by standing up for Maria when Hussain Khan was going to send her to the tomb. Fatima and Salman helped Iqbal when he was in the tomb by bringing him food and water. Iqbal kept his promise of escaping and of flying a kite to Fatima. Hussain Khan always lied to the children slaves, because he wasn’t their friend. Even after Iqbal escaped he was still a true friend to everyone, and he helped other children that were be free again. If you want to be or have a true friend, do what Iqbal and his friends did. Iqbal changed our lives forever…in a good way. REMBER: Life is precious,so be grateful to it.
